Monthly Microsolidarity Network Call (Online)
Join us again for our monthly Network Call! We meet on the first Thursday of the month at 19:30-21:00 CET via Zoom.
The upcoming call on 2nd May will be co-hosted by Synes Elischka and Jocelyn Ames. We often hear people ask how to get people interested or engaged to connect with a somewhat abstract idea like microsolidarity? So this will be a creative problem-solving session for finding your own language for what Microsolidarity means to you and sharing ideas for bringing more of your friends and collaborators onboard with you!
To join the call, you need to be a Microsolidarity Network Member by contributing a minimum of €3/month via our Open Collective. Members will receive a link to the call via email and on a Google Calendar event invitation.
For questions, get in touch with Jocelyn at microsolidarity@gmail.com.
Borderland Microsolidarity Camp (Sweden)
The Microsolidarity Borderland camp is growing! If you’ve got a membership (ticket) for the Borderland and you’d like to join our camp, register your interest here! We’ve had a first kick-off call but still very much in early planning stages.
Juicy links for reading watching & listening
Jocelyn hosted a fascinating small group conversation about crewing, talking about why crews are so impactful and how to develop the confidence to host them. Video / Audio
Jim Rutt interviewed Rich Bartlett to hear about what they learned from a 3 month co-living / community building experiment in the south of Spain.
Harry Taussig wrote this sweet guide suggesting a method for starting crews: reading groups, peer-support groups, research groups, meditation groups, project groups… Follow him on Twitter for more.
That’s all for this month - hope to see you at one of these upcoming events xoxoxo
I was considering to join the Europe Camp this year, but it coincides with Burning man 🥲 Please consider having it at a different weekend next summer :)
