🗞️ Microsolidarity Network May Update
I just listened to the conversation from this year’s Summer Gathering hosts (see below), and something in me softened. There’s a quiet beauty in hearing how last year’s learnings ripple into this year’s intentions, and the power of the motivating inquiries that keep evolving as our collective sense of hosting, belonging, and purpose deepens.
In many ways, that feels like the thread running through this issue: small evolutions, fresh questions, and the ongoing practice of growing together.
May these pages offer a few sparks for your own inquiries.

⛱️ Curious about what Microsolidarity is up to this summer?
The hosting team recently sat down for a super fresh conversation about the upcoming Intensive and Coliving Week at Casa Tilo.
It’s a thoughtful mix of reflections, learnings, and emerging questions around hosting, leadership, and the evolving spirit of these gatherings.

🌿 The New Camino: Weaving a Path of Interconnectedness
Something new is taking shape around Casa Tilo and beyond, a thread that Rich and Nati have been calling the New Camino. It’s not a formal network, not a program, but a recognition of something already happening: a quiet pathway connecting a new generation of community hubs across Europe.
Just as the Camino de Santiago links guesthouses and trails for people in transition, this emerging camino links places that hold space for learning, belonging, and transformation. People are already moving between them, following their own inner journey.
A first circle of hosts gathered at Casa Tilo recently to explore what might be possible if we strengthen these connections: sharing challenges, building relationships, and sensing into the future of this ecosystem.
The spaces currently exploring this possibility include Casa Tilo, Life Itself, Maysou A Noste, Emerge Lakefront, Fools Valley, Feÿtopia, Traditional Dream Factory, Liminal Village, a school called HOME, Commons Hub AT, Akasha Hub Barcelona, Amara Valley, Fractal New York. Each with its own flavour, each holding a unique project or way of contributing to the commons, yet clearly part of a shared landscape.
It feels like the beginning of something meaningful, and we’ll keep sharing as it unfolds.
Upcoming Events
🤙 This month Network Call - 4th June- 18:30 - 20:00 CEST / 9:30 - 11:00 PDT
Our next Network Call is coming up on 4th June, 18:30–20:00 CEST / 9:30–11:00 PDT, and it promises to be a nourishing one. Rich will be in conversation with Caleb, one of the hosts behind Community Village, a meditation‑rooted community in San Francisco exploring what it means to live, practice, and grow together with intention.
Community Village is a place where daily practice meets shared life and where people are invited into rhythms that support inner and collective transformation. Their work resonates strongly with many of the questions alive in our network around belonging, and the subtle art of holding a community over time.
Join us if you’re curious about how others are weaving practice into the fabric of everyday life.

🌈 Urban Villaging — May Network Call (Recording + Notes)
If you missed last month’s Network Call, the recording and write‑up are now available. Jocelyn hosted a beautiful conversation with Berlin‑based friends and community organisers exploring what it means to cultivate “village life” inside a big, fast city.
The session touches on the small moves that make urban social fabric come alive, the challenges of building meaningful relationships in transient environments, and the quiet successes emerging from Berlin’s growing constellation of community groups. It’s a generous, honest look at what urban villaging can feel like in practice and how these learnings might translate across cities.
