Experiments in Co-Living and community building 🏡☀️
Abi and Jocelyn began their series of recorded talks about their experience in Co-Living back in November. They began by sharing their experience about co-living (intentional vs coincidental), its benefits and on possible systems to organise it. They have since added two more! In the episode 2 they talk about finding people to live with and the role of wider scenes and networks. In episode 3 they talk about scenarios when things get difficult - dissatisfaction, conflict transformation, leaving and endings. Check them out!
There is more:
👉 Jocelyn interviews Kathrin David about her upcoming 1-month ‘notacoliving’ community experiment in southern Spain and they share thoughts on their insights and challenges as hosts and designers of residential experiments.
👉 There are a few interesting podcasts with Richard Bartlett talking to Jelger Kroese about Microsolidarity at a University, with Ondrej Krizan on how making music is like building community and Jocelyn Ames about Yincubator, her 2 month co-living experience.

Another invitation - book mastermind! 🏡
Michal and co-conspirators are bringing together an interdisciplinary team to co-create their third book – How to Build Thriving Neighbourhoods. Here is the invitation:
What makes a neighbourhood a fantastic place to live? How to make it happen? Where? With whom? We'll dive deep and synthesize our insights into an actionable illustrated playbook helping people bring vibrancy and belonging to their neighbourhood of choice – whether in a rural area or a city.
We'll make the book in 3h / day over one month (1-28 April 2025), so you have plenty of time for other projects, making nourishing connections and exploring the epic mountain hikes starting at the doorstep of our inspiring and cosy venue in Leysin, Swizterland 🏔Ah, and you'll join Tree House Collective our community-driven publishing studio, with profits from our books redistributed back to the authors 🚀
Here's a 55 second sneak-peak into our insanely rapid & playful co-creation method powered by cards & human creativity:
